In October 2014, we participated in a voyage to the remote Greek island of Antikythera, to partake in what would be the first archeological deployment of the Nuytco Research Ltd. Exosuit Atmospheric Diving System. Despite blessing by the Greek Orthodox Church prior to departure, the projet was severely hampered by foul weather, leaving only one day of Exosuit operations at the ancient shipwreck site. Nevertheless, this resulted in perhaps the most significant dive of the project, with Hellenic Navy Diver Fotis Lazarou diving the Exosuit at the Antikythera site. The sense of Greek national pride instilled was critical in setting the tone for future endeavors.
