Ocean Opportunity is pleased to announce the release of two new educational films. These are being distributed via Amazon.com. These are as follows:

‘A Will to Live, A Dream to Dive’
This film is a collection of media segments that chronicle the Diving a Dream project from 2004 through 2007, which enabled Matthew Johnston to become the world’s first ventilator dependent diver. This film compilation was made possible with support from the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. 100% of proceeds from the film benefit Diving a Dream and the newly formed ‘Matthew Johnston Charitable Trust’.

‘The Inland Blue Holes of Abaco’
This second film is a 15 minute monologue that takes the viewer through the process of exploring the blue hole of the Bahamas. Special note is made of the biological and geological significance of these cave systems. This film is the perfect supplement to educational lessons on cave environments, or as an introduction to cave diving in this part of the world. This film will make its debut feature at Boston Sea Rovers on March 8th.

These two new additions join our previous artistic short, ‘Summertime Blues’, which introduces the viewer to the beauty and plight of Rhode Island’s blue sharks.

School groups, clubs, and other groups seeking presentations of these films are welcome to contact us for more information, or visit https://oceanopportunity.com/LectureSeries.html for a full listing of the presentations we offer.
