Tortue’s early AM departure was delayed due to some rolling thunder and a few flashes of lightening out in the direction we were headed. After a leisurely breakfast, we continued northwest along Exuma Sound to Warderick Wells Cay, home of the Exuma Cays Land & Sea Park. We took up mooring to ride out some weather and made a brief email check at the station – and am uploading this last series of posts.

We’re hoping to get a dive in before heading out on our five hour transit to the northern end of the Exumas. Tomorrow we stop over in Nassau, which will be a pleasant break from the out islands, with some restaurant food, good connectivity, and maybe some nightlife – Bahamas style…
